Description: Janmashtami is celebrated as a symbol of the end of darkness and rooting out of the evil forces.Krishna Janmashtami is a festival commemorating the birth of Lord Krishna, one of the most powerful and famous reincarnations of Lord Vishnu.To seek the blessings of Lord Krishna, Janmashtami was celebrated at Delhi Public School, Shaheed path with mirth and joy. The students came dressed up as Lord Krishna, Goddess Radha and friends of Krishna's childhood. They were accessorized with colorful bangles, peacock crowns to set the Janmashtami mood. We were thrilled to see the enthusiasm and participation of our little ones, The Pre primary and even their parents as they decked up their kids like little Krishnas and Radhas and we truly appreciate the efforts taken by them.The school premises was beautifully decorated with flowers, swings and beautiful pictures of Lord Krishna. Special assembly was conducted wherein the students swayed to the tunes of traditional songs.
