The saying encouraged DPS, Shaheedpath to form a Club "Abhyuday" consisting of enthusiastic group of volunteers who believe, "only life lived for others is a life worthwhile". These volunteers were introduced in the morning assembly to all the students and they were made familiar with the club's objectives. The volunteer group visited all the classes to tell the students about the importance of "Cleanliness" with the help of charts. The cleanliness drive began from school premises and then they ventured into the nearby areas and covered 2 kms of the area shouting slogans and cleaning the area. Trash bins were put and people were told to use them regularly to keep diseases at bay. After returning the volunteers felt a sense of pride as their efforts could make a positive impact on the community
