"Sadak Suraksha Jeewan Raksha" DPS Shaheed Path took the initiative to appreciate the presence of UP traffic police officials in the school premises. The aim was to inculcate road safety culture and to make students aware about voluntary compliance towards traffic rules. These safety measures are vital for everyone specially the students to reduce the number of fatalities. This 'One hour training session' involved the lessons of five E's(education, enforcement,engineering, environment and emergency),traffic norms, rules and penalties in cases of violation. TSI Mr.Jogender Singh,ASI Mr.Ravindra Nath Tiwari and their team discussed many important aspects of the road signage and traffic signals.They laid stress on wearing helmets and suggested the students to strictly follow the safety rules and spread its awareness to family and friends. The students keenly interacted with the officials and cleared their doubts also. Principal Dr. Manju Lakhanpal suggested the students to follow their guidelines and admired the efforts of the team with a souvenir as a token of appreciation. Yet again, an effectual effort of the school in serving the dual purpose to encourage students on the pathway of a 'Good Samaritan' with the golden rules of traffic directives.
