The ceremony began by seeking the blessings of the Goddess of knowledge and wisdom, Goddess Saraswati. The lamp of knowledge was kindled by our Honorable Principal Ma'am Dr. Manjula Lakhanpal and Vice Principal Ma'am Ms. Swati Singh. The ceremony witnessed the most exhilarating performance by the students of Pre Primary-II, the Lungi Dance to tribute the Thaliva. The next was the beautiful bhajan of Achyutam Keshavam Krishna Damodaram to hail the undestroyable lord. Followed by the English song This Little Lamp of Light of Mine. Children played some wonderful and ear soothing tunes on various instruments like Casio, guitar etc. Children displayed the grooming skills which they had learnt in the summer camp. How to dress up smartly, how to walk, how to converse over the telephone, how to buy things at a mall, following table etiquette e.t.c. Children danced to the tunes of both the Western and Eastern music leaving the audience awestruck. The solo song added amazement to the air because the song "bande hain hum uske" depicts positivity of an innocent mind that is striving to learn at every moment. The mesmerizing, jaw dropping and the most exhilarating show was the percussion in which children played the drums and empty buckets to create lively music on which the entire school danced and cheered for more performances. In the end our Vice Principal Ma'am congratulated everybody and wished everyone best wishes for the summer vacation. Perfect ending to any program is to finish best. Students were given participation certificates and refreshment boxes. Everyone participated enthusiastically and the programme was a grand success.
