Description:
We all know that Gold Medals aren’t really made of Gold. They are made of sweat, determination, and a hard-to-find alloy called guts. Representing one’s school in Intra School and National Sports Tournaments fosters in students immeasurable spirit for teamwork, accountability, self-confidence, responsibility, and self-discipline. Recognising the integral role of sports in the holistic education of its students, the Management of DPS, Shaheedpath sent enthusiastic and polished teams under the guidance of its sports teachers Mrs. Ranjana, Mr. Manmohan & Mr. Vikas to participate in various such tournaments in the past few days. It's a proud moment for the school to laud the achievements of the students.
The Under 19 Girls' Basketball Tournament, Sarojini Nagar Sports League was organised on 4th December 2022 by Dr. Rajeshwar Singh, MLA Sarojini Nagar, Lucknow. The finals of DPS Shaheedpath vs Bonwal witnessed DPS Shaheedpath having a whopping victory by a score of 24-6.
Our students participated in the CBSE Cluster Skating Inline Championship organised at Dr. A. L. Ishrat Memorial Sunbeam School, Rohania, Varanasi from 30th. November 2022 to 4th December 2022. Rajveer Samrat won 2 Gold Medals in 500 mtrs and 1000 mtrs.
Mauli Singh won Silver and Bronze Medal in 500 mtrs. and 1000 mtrs. respectively.
Vishwakirty Rai won Silver Medal in 500 mtrs.
We are glad to state that all three have also been selected for CBSE Nationals Skating Championship.
Our students Rysa Kamal, Samudra Yadav and Stuti Yadav participated in the CBSE Cluster East Zone, Under 17 Lawn Tennis Tournament hosted by G. D. Goenka from 2nd to 4th December 2022. They brought laurels to the school by winning the Gold Medal and getting selected for CBSE Nationals in Lawn Tennis.
Samudra Yadav and Stuti Yadav also won Bronze Medal in Under 14 Girls' Table Tennis Tournament.
The Management and the faculty blesses it's young Stars to keep shining brighter and emerging victorious in all their endeavors.
