The auspicious day began with the traditional “Anjali,” where students and teachers offered flowers, sweets, and their heartfelt prayers to the goddess Saraswati, the fountain head of all learning and art forms. Hawan ceremony was performed to purify the atmosphere that dded a spiritual significance to the celebrations of Basant Panchami.
