The first day of school marks a fresh start filled with excitement, laughter, and the promise of learning. To welcome our young learners at DPS Shaheedpath, a special morning assembly was conducted by the teachers with warmth and enthusiasm. The assembly began with a prayer song, seeking blessings for a joyful and successful year ahead. This was followed by the pledge, where children promised to be respectful, responsible, and kind citizens of their school. The Principal and Vice Principal welcomed the children with an encouraging speech, reminding them that school is a place where they can dream big, try new things, and grow every day. After the assembly, students returned to their classes where fun-filled ice-breaking activities were conducted to help them settle in and feel comfortable. There were no academic lessons on the first day, allowing children to enjoy and explore their new environment through games and engaging activities. The cheerful atmosphere helped build a sense of belonging and excitement for the journey ahead.
